How amazing were out 4th of July celebrations yesterday? It really was the best day of the year at camp! To celebrate we had a really special dinner yesterday outside on the greentop, and then we had a special 4th of July cake for dessert. Look how great it looked!
After dinner campers and staff attended a special 4th of July campfire that included lots of camp songs and dancing. We also had a surprise visit from Smokey the Bear, the campers were so pleased to see him. After the campfire everybody got ready for bed so they were ready for today's activities. Campers signed up for a variety of activities yesterday for this morning which included:
Arts and Crafts: Treasure Chest
Sports and Games: 10 Pin Bowling
Performing Arts: Pantomime
Nature: Leaf Fossil Painting
Pool is canceled this morning as a lot of staff are attending the trip to Camden Yards in Baltimore, but no fear, free swim will continue this afternoon!
We've just finished our breakfast of bacon and biscuits and are getting ready for this morning's activities. Check back later for photos!
