If you stepped onto camp for the first time today you might have seen a few tumble weeds rolling around the Greentop, not because nothing was happening but because it was WESTERN DAY!
It was safe to say that if you were a Western enthusiast then CGT was the best darn-rooting-tooting place you could be right about now. All our Cowboys and Cowgirls are adorned in their plaid shirts and ten gallon stetsons when Sheriff Emily, the fearless director in the county, strolled into town. She even managed to win the duel for the last piece of bacon with yours truly, which involved a lengthy stand down with "forks" at dawn.
Campers and counselors enjoyed a day full of western activities which included drawing "Wanted" posters in Arts & Crafts, a Western water disco at the pool, and barrel racing at horses!
Even the WEA's got into the act as they blazed the trail with their wagons across the vast plain that was the Greentop.
