That Olympic Spirit

Good morning Greentop family! We had a very exciting afternoon yesterday, with Camp Olympics! Units competed for five different awards in activities like tug of war, ribbon dancing, sponge races, and parachute popcorn....not to mention shaving foam and water fights!

A Unit won Most Spirited
B Unit won Most Olympic
C Unit won Loudest
D Unit won Messiest
League Pioneers/Day Camp won Most Creative

Emily and Lauren show off their ribbon dancing skills.

The Day Camp and League Pioneers group put their weight into winning the tug-of-war.

Rabah and Declan take a break after a fun afternoon.

Jeremy and Tara head to their next activity at the Olympics.

As soon as the Olympics were over, the skies opened up and it rained for a couple of hours. But luckily it didn't stop the fun! We had a delicious dinner of cheese steak subs and curly fries with chocolate pudding for dessert.

Evening program was a PJ party and got everyone in the mood to head to bed for a good night's sleep.

Melissa, Julianne, and Amanda count sheep in the rec hall during last night's PJ party.

Yesterday's program award winners were:
Arts & Crafts - Moustafa Bridgeforth & Edward Robert
Nature - Laura Foster & Conrad Goldschmidt
Pool - Katherine Zorn & Laura Hoffman
Sports & Games - John Bogasky & Brendan Paternostro
Performing Arts - Jake Steele & Justin Sauter
Horses - Mekhi Ferguson & Tyler Stokes

Congratulations also go out to D Unit for winning the Golden Plunger yesterday!
