Campfire Days

This afternoon was absolutely wonderful - the sun came out and warmed us up a bit, but the breeze kept blowing. Today's activities were:

Nature - Stick People

Sports & Games - Parachute Games

Pool - Simon Says

Horses - Frisbee Golf

Performing Arts - Campfire Preparations

We had Salisbury steak, corn, and rice for dinner tonight with chocolate pudding for dessert. After dinner was a campfire, complete with a visit from Smokey the Bear!!!

Smokey even made a visit to the League Pioneer campsite down at Walnut Springs. They were all very surprised and excited to see Smokey and learn about fire safety. He taught everyone that "Only YOU can prevent wildfires!!!"

All in all, it was a fantastic day. Everyone has headed to bed, and we are all looking forward to SUPERHERO DAY tomorrow!!!
