Scavenger Hunt at Camp GreenTop!

We enjoyed a very fun morning full of enthusiasm and smiles on everyone, just after breakfast all programs started going as usual, we made amazing fused-beads figures at Arts & Crafts, played capture the flag at Sports & Games, made kites out of leaves and sticks at Nature, played get in the zone at the Pool, practiced drumming & Rhythm at Performing Arts and played Horse-ketball at the Horses.

All of that kept us very busy all day long, but the real fun certainly happened this evening when the time for the last activity of the day arrived. We teamed up in teams among all cabins and went on a very hectic yet funny scavenger hunt, all campers were engaged and moving from one place to the other trying to collect all requested items. Once all the items were collected we were told it was time to create a bed time story and put on a show by narrating it for everyone.

The winners for today's different programs were:
Sports & Games: Darius Matthews & Joy Meenan
Arts & Crafts: Dominic Na & Sam Koffsky
Nature: Eric Krausz & Owen VanDoorn
Pool: Talon Harper, Zach Kafka & Kenyon White
Performing Arts: CJ Wheeler &Tochi Okpulor
Horses: Ramsey Aly, Stephanie Brockington & Mallory O'Keefe

We did have fun today for sure, and tomorrow some exciting times seem to be ahead since we have Twin Day all day long! Stay tuned for some details of what we do, and don’t forget to provide us with your much appreciated feedback!

Second Session has officially begun!

Session 2 started today and we received all campers cheering and shouting as we usually do, the heat didn’t stop the peculiar Camp Greentop spirit that makes campers come back summer after summer.

We have a full house this week which means more fun and more new friends, for an afternoon activity we had a couple of movies in the Rec Hall and some cookies and juice as refreshments.

Right after dinner every cabin showed their best moves and certainly their best skills at dressing up for the “Jungle Boogie night”, a welcome dance that allows all campers to interact with the friendly staff.

We are sure everyone is more than ready to go bed now since tomorrow we will start our daily activities.

Here are some pictures of the enjoyment that took over tonight at camp Greentop.
